The Short Version

We Connect You With Pallet Suppliers

Ace Pallet Service is a referral service. We take your pallet request and match it with partner suppliers in our network. Those suppliers are independent businesses, and they handle the pallets, the pricing and the transport.

It works for businesses that need pallets and for businesses that have too many. Below, we walk through each step, explain who does what, and list the questions worth asking a supplier before you place an order.

The Process in Four Steps

Step 1

Send a Request

Use the quote form to describe the pallets you need or the pallets you want to move on.

Step 2

Get Matched

We pass your request to partner suppliers that may suit the job and your location.

Step 3

Hear From a Supplier

A partner supplier follows up to confirm the details and put together a quote.

Step 4

Decide

Accept the quote and arrange the job with the supplier, or walk away with no obligation.

Your Request

What to Include for Each Type of Job

A clear request saves everyone a round of questions. Here is what suppliers usually want to know.

Buying

Pallets You Need

Size, grade, quantity and location. Add the construction if you know it (stringer or block, 2-way or 4-way), plus whether you need heat treatment for export.

Selling

Pallets You Have

A rough count, the sizes, the general condition and where they are. Photos help. Mention whether they are stacked and whether a forklift is available on site.

Recycling

Pallets You Want Gone

What you have, including anything broken, and how much of it. Tell the supplier if any pallets have been in contact with chemicals, since many recyclers cannot take those.

Custom

Pallets Built to Order

Length, width and height, the load the pallet needs to carry, how it will be handled, the fork entry you need, and any treatment or lumber requirements.

In Detail

Each Step, Explained

01
Your Request

Tell Us What You Need

Everything starts with the quote form. Tell us whether you want to buy, sell, recycle, repair or move pallets, then add the size, grade, quantity and your location. A free, no-obligation quote request takes a few minutes and commits you to nothing.

You do not need to know the industry terms. If you are unsure about a grade or size, describe the product going on the pallet and how it will be handled. That is usually enough for a supplier to suggest something suitable.

02
The Match

We Match You With Partner Suppliers

We look at what you asked for and where you are, then pass your request to partner suppliers in our network that may be a fit. To do that, we share the details you gave us with those suppliers, including your contact details so they can reach you.

A match depends on who handles that type of work in your area and who has capacity at the moment. Some requests are easy to place, such as standard 48x40 pallets in common grades. Unusual sizes or small quantities in remote areas can be harder.

03
The Follow-Up

A Partner Supplier Follows Up

A partner supplier contacts you directly to go over the job. Expect questions about dock access, how the pallets are stacked, what condition they are in, or how much weight they need to carry.

This is the point to raise anything specific: delivery windows, heat treatment, a sample pallet, or photos of the load. The supplier knows what they can do, so they are the right person to ask.

04
The Quote

You Get a Quote and Decide

The partner supplier quotes the job. Pricing depends on grade, quantity, freight and market conditions, so we do not publish prices and we do not set them. If you are selling pallets, the supplier tells you what, if anything, they can offer for them.

Take the time you need to compare it with other options. The quote request carries no obligation, and nothing happens unless you agree to it with the supplier.

05
The Job

The Supplier Does the Work

If you go ahead, you arrange the job directly with the partner supplier. They source, grade, repair, recycle, load and haul the pallets, and they set the schedule with you.

Payment, delivery details and terms are all agreed between you and the supplier. Get anything important in writing, particularly the grade definition and what happens if a load is not what you ordered.

06
Next Time

Repeat Needs and New Requests

If a partner supplier works well for you, you can keep dealing with them directly. Many pallet users have an ongoing need, and a supplier can tell you what regular arrangements they are able to offer.

If you have a different kind of job later, such as a custom build or a clear-out of broken pallets, send a new request and we will look for a suitable match.

Where Requests Can Be Matched

Your Location Matters

We accept requests from many areas, and availability depends on partner suppliers. Pallets are costly to haul a long way, so a supplier reasonably close to you is usually the most practical match.

Your Load Matters

A full truckload can justify a longer trip than a small order can. If you only need a few pallets, or only have a few to clear, a supplier may ask whether you can collect or drop off.

Not Sure? Just Ask

The quickest way to find out whether there is a partner supplier for your job is to send a request. You can also browse our location pages for information about your area.

Pricing

How Pricing Works

Pricing is by quote from partner suppliers and depends on grade, quantity, freight and market conditions. We do not publish prices because any list would be out of date or wrong for your area. When you compare quotes, these are the things to look at.

Per-Pallet Price

Check that the quote names the size, grade and construction. Two quotes for "48x40 used pallets" can describe quite different products.

Delivery Costs

Ask whether delivery is included or quoted separately, and whether the price assumes a dock, a forklift or a liftgate.

Quantity

Ask how the price changes between a partial load and a full truckload, and whether a repeat order would be treated differently.

Selling Your Pallets

Offers depend on condition, size and quantity. Some pallets have resale value, while others may be collected at no charge or for a fee. The supplier will tell you which applies.

Grade Definitions

Grading is not regulated, so one supplier's Grade B may look different from another's. Ask for the criteria, or a sample or photos before a large order.

Market Timing

Lumber costs and used pallet supply change over time. Ask how long a quote stays valid before you plan around it.

Before You Order

Questions to Ask a Supplier

Partner suppliers are independent businesses with their own terms. These questions help you check that a supplier suits your job.

What Does Your Grade Mean?

Ask how they define the grade you are buying, including how many repairs are acceptable and what they do with stained or weathered boards.

When Can You Do It?

Ask about timing for your specific order and location. Schedules vary from one supplier to the next and with the season.

What If the Load Is Wrong?

Ask what happens if pallets do not match the order, and how soon you need to report a problem after delivery.

How Is Payment Handled?

Payment is arranged with the supplier, so ask about accepted methods and when payment is due before you confirm the order.

Can You Meet Our Specification?

If your customer or industry sets pallet requirements, share them in writing and ask the supplier to confirm they can meet them.

Do You Carry Insurance?

If your site requires proof of insurance before a truck can enter, ask the supplier for it directly while you arrange the job.
